Elisha And The Widows Oil

2 Kings 4:1-7

She had one jar of oil and enough faith to keep pouring.

A prophet's widow comes to Elisha in desperation: her husband is dead, the creditors are coming, and they'll take her two sons as slaves to pay the debt. Elisha asks what she has in the house. Nothing, she says — except one small jar of olive oil. Elisha tells her to borrow as many empty jars as she can from her neighbors. Then go inside, shut the door, and start pouring. She pours from her single jar into vessel after vessel after vessel. The oil doesn't stop until every borrowed jar is full. She sells the oil, pays her debts, and lives on the rest. The miracle was limited only by the number of jars she gathered.
