The Ten Plagues

Exodus 7:1–11:10

Pharaoh said no ten times. God answered ten times louder.

Moses stands before Pharaoh with a simple demand: Let my people go. Pharaoh refuses. So God systematically dismantles Egypt — water turns to blood, frogs swarm the land, gnats, flies, livestock disease, boils, hail, locusts, three days of total darkness. Each plague targets an Egyptian god. Each time Moses warns Pharaoh. Each time Pharaoh hardens his heart. The plagues escalate from inconvenience to catastrophe. By the ninth plague, Egypt is ruined and Pharaoh's own officials beg him to relent. But it takes a tenth and terrible plague to finally break him.
