The Creation
Genesis 1:1–2:3
Before anything existed, someone spoke — and it was enough.
In the beginning, there is nothing. No light, no land, no life — just darkness over deep water. Then a voice speaks. Day by day, word by word, an entire universe takes shape — light separated from darkness, seas from sky, land from water. Each act of creation builds on the last, each day ending with the same quiet verdict: it is good. On the sixth day, something different happens. God doesn't just speak humanity into existence — he forms it, breathes into it, and calls it very good.
